Philippines - The Perfect Choice for Retirement

A lot of people in the world already consider their retirements while they were young. They are trying to save more money for their future and for their retirement. They will also consider the place where they want to live when they retire. This is the hardest part of the decision making. The economy worldwide is not too good as we all know and the prices of commodities are increasing so fast. Choosing the place to retire will really be a hard decision.

There are a lot of things that you will need to consider when you are looking for the best place to retire. For a lot of people, the Philippines is one of the best places in the world where you can really enjoy your retirement. One of the best reasons is the climate. They also consider new adventures and of course lower cost of living. As time goes by, the Philippines is starting to rise as a retirement country because of its tropical climate, beautiful beaches and resorts and low cost of living.

The Philippines is made up of more than 7,000 islands and people must expect that the country has a diverse culture and lifestyle. Actually, a lot of people easily adapts to the environment of this country because the people here can speak English. Communication will not be a big problem in this country. The first thing that you will consider is your home of course. You can choose to live in the big city, near the beach or in the provinces.

If you chose to live in the big city, you can have access to large shopping malls, nightlife, offices and commercial establishments and even heavy traffic jams. That is one of the disadvantages of leaving in big cities. Actually, a lot of cities around the world are like that. You can also decide to live near the beaches if you want. You can see the sunset and you can have a quitter time. However, you must be aware that some of the stores and shopping malls maybe really far from these beaches.

You can also choose to live in provinces. Living in provinces is not that different in big cities since the provinces here in the Philippines are starting to develop. You can already find malls in different provinces and other commercial establishments. The only difference is that it is cheaper to live in provinces compared with the big city.

When it comes to cost of living, the Philippines will only cost you for about a quarter of what it will cost you when you have the same lifestyle in the United States or in the Europe. Basically, a budget of $1,000 to $2,000 per month can already be enough if you are living in the Philippines. You only need to find an area that firs your budget. You can have a house helper, a driver and a made without paying too much. You can even travel anywhere and establish your own business if you want.

Aside from your monthly budget, the price of houses will also be considered. The price of housing will actually depend on the location and the type of dwelling that you chose. If you want to live in the big city, you can consider living in a condominium unit, studio type apartment or a detached house. However, you have to expect higher payments if you decide to live in big cities in the Philippines. It usually ranges from $500 to $1500 per month. If you choose to live in upscale areas you can expect more than $1500. Houses in provinces only range from about $300 to $900 per month and you will only pay around $200 to $700 per month for rural cities.
